Frequently asked questions

What is a PAM?

A Price Adjustment Mechanism (PAM) is a formula that determines how a contract price adjusts over time based on commodity indices. Escalake lets you build, automate, and track these formulas end-to-end.

What counts as an "active price formula"?

One active price formula is one price adjustment mechanism: a single indexed formula that adjusts a contract price. Most indexed contracts contain 1 to 3, so count your escalation clauses and you know your tier.

What happens when my 90-day trial ends?

Your account moves to read-only mode. All data is preserved and visible, but you cannot create new resources. Subscribe to any plan to restore full access. Nothing is deleted.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle.

What counts as an "index series"?

Each individual tracked series from a provider (e.g. a BLS CPI series, a FRED series, or an ECB exchange rate) counts as one index series toward your plan limit.

Which data providers are included on all plans?

Every plan includes all 12 integrated providers: BLS, FRED, EIA, ECB, World Bank, IMF, Eurostat, ONS, StatCan, ABS, BIS, and Nasdaq Data Link.

Are there setup fees or long-term contracts?

No setup fees. Monthly plans are month-to-month with no commitment. Annual plans are billed once per year at a 20% discount.
